It was for a celebration, some achievement Rodimus hadn’t remembered, being too black out drunk at this point to even hear the calls and pleas from his amica to turn on his inhibitor chip. Rodimus jolted when the door opened, almost getting whiplash from how fast he turned his helm. The speedster could not will himself to get off of where he was seated; but that didn't stop the individual from entering the room. They had a mech-like silhouette, only reaching the speedsters chassis if Rodimus were to stand.
"I found you." The mech spoke, voice slightly garbled as if struggling to speak.

Ratchet knew something was wrong after the Lost Light was disbanded.
It was not something he dwelled on, oh no, Ratchet knew fully well Prowl was most likely going to take the ship into custody after he retrieved Megatron.
But it still stung, like a part of his spark was removed and stashed away never to be found again.But that wasn't what was wrong.
No, no, Ratchet wasn't thinking about the ship, but how his Sparkmate, Drift, seemed to carry a heavy field every now and again.
And yes, while the two were visited by old friends, had gotten a few comms from a few of them, Ratchet knew that Drift was missing something.
Or rather, missing Someone.

Summary
After the hate plague and Optimus Prime's return to earth, Hot Rod learns to readjust to his (relatively) normal life.
But the toll of his past and degrading mental state refuse to let him function properly. In the brink of breaking, he turns to Ultra Magnus for support. But Ultra Magnus decides Hot Rod should work out his problems on his own, and find out the best solution of what he needed for himself. As any responsible mech should.
But it was almost too late when Ultra Magnus realises this runs deeper than he thought. The painful strain on their already dying relationship, snaps.

In all of recorded history, Optimus Prime is the first Cybertronian chosen by the Matrix of Leadership to not be descended from the long, unbroken line of Primarchy. This betrayal was the catalyst for starting the Civil War that has since divided and ravaged Cybertron, a constant ebb and flow of heated battles and the false quiet of cold war tactics.
Within the throes of war, two princes have grown: the heir of the Decepticon Empire and Megatron's adopted sparkling, Deadlock, and the heir of the Autobot Primarchy, Rodimus. While Deadlock has since risen to the position of Second-in-Command of the Decepticons, Rodimus has spent his life sequestered away from the War, preparing for his destiny as the next Prime. But when the young Prime-To-Be decides he's had enough of being sheltered, he learns very quickly that things are significantly different between fighting on the battlefield and simply training for it. When things go wrong and Rodimus finds himself a captive, he's determined to prove he's capable of being more than a soft little prince, while Deadlock is determined to make his adopted sire proud.
...It would be much easier to accomplish this if either of them could keep their servos off each other.

Jazz has a few problems. Problem one, the Autobots are being poisoned. Two, figuring out who’s behind it and stopping them is proving harder than anyone expected. Three, he’s found a fix for both of those but it depends on Soundwave, the most loyal Decepticon in the whole army, helping him.
And if there isn’t a good reason for Soundwave to cooperate with him? Well, Jazz will just have to make one.
“An easy course and following winds,” Jazz says to the two aliens first, because the possibility of imminent violence is no excuse to violate social niceties with these guys. And then just for Soundwave, he says in English, “You know these guys are planning to screw you over, right?”
He steps lightly into the room, moving so casually you’d never know it puts him in point blank shooting distance of a sworn enemy.
“Hold your fire for just a sec,” he continues, baiting the hook, “and I’ll prove it.”

Rodimus would know if he interfaced with anyone, okay. He knows he didn't, but that doesn't change the fact that there's a sparkling growing in him. He knows how, but he doesn't want to think about it and that's not healthy, but whatever. He's just so sick of everyone laughing at him and arguing with him and judging him and - he'll deal with it himself.
aka, Rodimus gets sparked, knows he hasn't interfaced, but knows who the sire is and is so so so sick of people judging him for choices he couldn't make. Even as the sparkling refuses to come out. And even when he does, Rodimus' shameful secret gets out too
