Summary
The command team is struggling to maintain their personal relationship in the aftermath of Voyager's uneasy alliance with the Borg.
Janeway is grieving - Kes's absence has left a void she can barely comprehend. She buries herself in work, focusing all her energy on integrating Seven of Nine into the crew.
Meanwhile, Chakotay feels increasingly sidelined and betrayed. Haunted by ghosts from his encounter with the Vori, he's wrestling with old wounds that only deepen the rift between him and Kathryn.
Neither of them can fully express their needs, and the lack of communication drives them further apart.
Can they confront their pain and find a way back to each other, or is their bond beyond repair?
