Summary
“Ilya, what are we gonna do?” Shane says.
Ilya finishes whatever he has been doing on his phone, and tosses it gently to the bed beside him. He crosses the room to Shane, stands in front of him, squeezes into his shoulders with his big hands, rubbing them like he means to warm them up.
“Looks like we will have a little vacation,” he says, with a big obnoxious grin.
Boston and Montreal are sent to Paris to play against each other in an exhibition series in January 2017. Ilya and Shane decide to stay in Paris for one more night. Just one more night, so they can talk. Maybe finally understand each other.
They aren't expecting a volcano to erupt in Iceland and close all the airspace in Europe, leaving them stranded there. Together.

ReHeated | Between the Scenes: A Canon-Compliant Compilation by SuperFreakyHollanov
Fandom Heated Rivalry (TV)

Summary
My intention is for this series to be supplemental to the Heated Rivalry TV series. Each work will be a stand-alone perspective of either Shane or Ilya (and probably a few cameos by ancillary characters) throughout the series. Everything written will always be canon-compliant with the TV show. Any future references I might use from the books may not remain canon compliant if the TV show heads in a different direction. But I don't expect to be writing that far into the future for that to be an issue.
I am essentially trying to both expand the episode and go deeper into themes, rationales, and actions of the characters. For a multimedia type experience, readers could read these while watching the actual episodes; I do that when I'm writing.
If you've taken the time to read one or more of these works, I thank you very much for your time and support. :)

Summary
Shane Hollander has been keeping his sexuality hidden from the world his entire life. He has even successfully hidden it from himself for a very long time to a point where he still isn’t convinced that he is gay. Just curious. (it might just be a phase) In order to figure out for sure, he has been convinced to go to a very private and safe queer sexclub, where he can explore without fear of getting outed.
There is only one problem. The owner of the club is a super-hot, Russian man that won’t stop flirting with Shane, shattering Shane’s idea of him liking men just being a phase.Series

Summary
Hudson is annoyed people keep taking Connor away.
He wants to smoke, but he made a New Year’s resolution to stop smoking, so he can’t smoke. He still smokes, but the only cigarettes he’s been letting himself smoke belong to Connor; he can’t find Connor.
He can’t quit smoking because his nerves constantly feel frayed and too close to the surface. The first drag of a cigarette always brings him back to his body.
He’d quit smoking a year before filming started, but Connor smoked. Hudson could taste it in his mouth every time they kissed on set and then when they kissed alone, in secret.
The first taste of smoke always brings him back to Connor.

Summary
Loud beeps from his phone startled Ilya, and he slowed down, reaching for the device he’d put on the bar between his legs. Jane. He smiled to himself when he saw the notifications, and, checking Marlowe was absorbed in his own fitness, opened it quickly, smiling in anticipation of Shane's words.
The smile was wiped off his face almost instantly.
The blood drained from his face, and Ilya felt like the bottom had just fallen out of his world.
*****
Maybe he was naive, but Ilya always thought he had time. Time with Shane. Time to tell him what he truly meant to him.
That, somehow, one way or another, Shane would always be there.
But a text message late one night threatens to destroy the future that Ilya has spent the time carefully constructing in his mind.
Maybe Shane wasn't always going to be there. That Shane would be cruelly snatched away from him before he had a chance to be honest.
That he would be left behind. Alone.
