Summary
Bakool Ja Ja, two minds that share a body and an identity, has an existential crisis after meeting Zoraal Ja's abandoned son and gets drunk on the palace roof. Koana has to talk the Blessed Sibling pair down off the roof and clean up the mess they've made, and in the process discovers Bakool Ja Ja's poorly hidden crush on him.
From one drunken conversation, consequences ensue - across species, size, hierarchy, experience, and a *lot* of daddy issues.

Summary
Because Vash is a nice boy, and doesn't fly off the handle and mutilate his brother on the belief that imperfect things are less loved and he will therefore be allowed to keep them. Knives may not spend a lot of time sniveling, but he is never going to stop feeling bad about all the scars he has put on Vash. Hell, he would be locked up somewhere right now, if not for Vash's begging not to be parted from him and Rem's assurances that she could keep them both safe. And she has, and because of that and because this is what Vash wants, Knives is going to Summer Camp For The Criminally Insane And Their Stupid Siblings. Great.
And of course Vash blubbers when they say goodbye to Rem, and then he's way too excited to talk to everyone else on the bus, and it's hot out and there's no AC and Knives is already greasy with sunscreen and just kill him now, honestly.
With my usual impulse to take Big Serious Angsty properties and turn all the characters into the obnoxious teenagers they act like, we find ourselves here, with the cast of Trigun at a summer residential program for kids with severe trauma.

Summary
Nicholas D. Wolfwood manages to piss off Gunsmoke's most violent cryptid: Millions Knives. Despite his rage, Knives agrees to spare Wolfwood, but only if he successfully tracks down Knives' slippery, nomadic brother - another elusive cryptid simply referred to as "The Stampede".
It takes years, but thanks to the aid of Zazie the Beast, Wolfwood tracks "The Stampede" to a small mountain town called TriPeak.
Despite Wolfwood's desperation to catch the monster, his fondness for the town proves to be a slight distraction. The locals are nice, the cafe sells the best coffee he's ever had, and TriPeak is inherently charming, despite the perpetually grey weather.
And on top of all that, there's one newer TriPeak transplant who Wolfwood finds particularly fascinating.

ELDRITCH VASH CRUCIAL!!!! This fic is so sweet BWAHHHH!!!! Useless fact: I got halfway through this fic and became completely convinced that Wolfwood’s former boss who fired him because he broke his nose was Knives’ human disguise and that was why Vash made a strange face at the mention of it because he was like “wait a minute. A security guard definitely broke my brother’s nose several months ago”. So I was shocked and sad when Vash just said Knives was “gone” ;-; in my mind he is out there doing nefarious things posing as a human for his own anti-human eldritch desires. “You’re a good looking guy,” Vash says, adjusting Legato’s grip so it’s higher up. Closer to his ribs than his hips. “Surprised no one’s asked you to dance. You were kinda awkward about accepting, though. Don’t tell me I’m your first?”
Legato doesn’t put himself in situations where strangers might have an excuse to touch him. If he enters a saloon after nightfall, it’s to eat. Not to mingle with desperate sweaty humans eager to rut against their intoxicated companions. But Vash is aware of this already.
“The average person has better self-preservation instincts than you do.” Legato throws a glance at the lethargic few who have yet to turn in for the night, scattered at the bar and slumped over dark sticky tables. “And I was asked. Twice. I turned them down.”
“Third time’s the charm.” Vash slips his arms around Legato’s neck in a casual, languid way that’s too relaxed to not be purposefully so. “Lucky me.”

The Eye of Michael has elaborate plans to save the plants around Gunsmoke, and Legato Bluesummers— Millions Knives’ right hand man and boyfriend— always plays an intricate role. Knives convinces Legato to turn one of their missions into a date of sorts, as he wears a vibrator controlled by Legato. In the ruins of the raid, Legato gets to see just how great his angel's stamina is before Knives returns the favor for Legato, with a little extra surprise.

When attempts at communication with the first alien ship found in the SEEDS exploration of space go unanswered, Luida and Brad are the first two-man team to board it. It becomes clear quickly that the ship is not empty, and whatever's watching them is as unprepared for first contact as they are.
Taking a deep breath and forcing herself not to back out, Luida turns the corner and uncovers her flashlight.
The creature yelps and ducks its head, shields its face from the light with two skinny little arms. As it squints in the space between its arms Luida's stomach drops in equal parts shock and awe.
“You're a little boy,” she murmurs, words escaping before her brain can catch up.

“And is that what you were doing?” The priest kicked off of the wall, leaning towards him. “Trying to talk things out with lawless criminals?”
Vash smiled awkwardly. “Yeah… I just thought I’d give them the chance to make things right, you know?”
“Then perhaps it’s fate that we ran into each other,” the priest chuckled. Vash was all too aware of the way his chest shook as he did (why was his shirt unbuttoned so far down? Jayce opens his mouth to protest, but the older man kneels down, hands rising to cradle his face.
Jayce must still be intoxicated. This isn’t his partner— can’t be. He doesn’t even know what kind of creature is wearing Viktor’s face. And yet, he leans into the touch involuntarily, eyes fluttering shut as he gives in to the warmth he’s imagined for so long.
“Do not fret,” the man says softly. “I can fix that."
