Summary
Ponyboy muffles his sobs into his palms, trying to quell the tremors in his body so that Sodapop won’t notice. But his efforts prove to be futile, because he feels Soda shift from behind him anyways.
“‘ony?” Sodapop slurs, still half asleep. It’s not until Ponyboy sniffs again that his voice becomes clearer, more alert. “Pony, are you crying? What’s wrong?”

“So, lemme get this straight,” Sam began from his position on the couch—now bundled under a heap of blankets, freshly dosed with Nyquil. The movie end credits were rolling in the background. “You guys thought I was possessed—“
“Well, technically it was Cas’ idea.” Dean interrupted, shooting a glare at the man in question, who was frowning at the television like it had personally offended him.
“—you guys thought I was possessed,” Sam continued pointedly, “all because I turned down a request to read poetry? Really?” He barked out a hoarse, tired laugh, eyes crinkling with clear amusement.

Hinata blinked slowly. “You can laugh..?"
“Obviously.” Kageyama said once he regained his breath, still battling with the smile lingering on his face. The unfamiliar warmth in his chest was a welcomed relief. It was like a small weight had been momentarily lifted off his shoulders. “Is that surprising?” He asked.
“A little. You’re so grumpy all the time.”
“I’m not grumpy.”
“Are too.” Hinata made a face, screwed-up pout. “You are right now.”
“Not.” Kageyama protested. He gingerly picked up the thermometer from the nightstand, shoving it into Hinata’s mouth to shut whatever rebuttal he was going to say up.
Or, Hinata is dramatic and sick. Kageyama is Kageyama.
