Summary
He’s never met anyone like Ryousuke before, someone so small and compact and yet seems to loom larger in Youichi’s life more than anyone ever has, and Youichi has spent a probably embarrassing amount of time over the past handful of months wondering how the hell he’s supposed to approach someone like that as anything more than just the guy who makes him coffee.
Ryousuke isn't exactly the easiest person to get close to, though not exactly for the reasons Youichi would've thought.

Ryousuke’s turn to flip the question: “What do you want?”
“I just want to get to know you better,” Kuramochi said. “That’s all.”
As if it were that simple. As if merely wanting something meant you were entitled to it. Years ago Ryousuke had learned the hard way that it didn’t always matter how badly you wanted something, how much work you put into it. Life was not that kind or easy.
Ryousuke wants so little. Kuramochi thinks he could want a little more.
