Summary
Nathaniel is the spare prince: too restless for court, too clever for his own good, and far too sarcastic for everyone's peace of mind. Andrew is the visiting prince who watches everything and says almost nothing.
They should have ignored each other. Instead, Andrew keeps seeing straight through the performance — and Nathaniel keeps noticing that he doesn't entirely hate it. Which is inconvenient. And suspicious. And probably Andrew's fault.
A slow-burn medieval AU about wooden swords, hidden gardens, old wells that might grant wishes, and the terrifying intimacy of being understood without ever having to explain.
