Just climb onto a tall building, step up to the ledge and jump. After a brief fall, the quirkless Deku would be no more, and in his estimations the world would be better off for it.
Except. As he contemplates the abyss, someone, or rather someones speak up behind him.
"A man chooses."
"A slave obeys."
Little did Izuku know, that that short phrase would mark the beginning of something new. Of his fisrt step on the path to making his dreams come true.

After what seems an eternity, Grimm speaks. “Why have you summoned us?”

Grimm is summoned to Hallownest, before the infection takes hold. Meanwhile, other forces from Pharloom have entered Hallownest, and worlds begin to collide.

Clockwork has an idea that leads to Danny striking a deal with Lady Gotham. In exchange for sanctuary, Danny will filter her corrupted ectoplasm. She tells him that if he's in any danger, then Danny may go to her Knights. But Danny's not the type of person to go asking others for help. Especially if he thinks he can handle it by himself.What Danny doesn't know is that the Knights of Gotham are very interested in meeting this new Meta that keeps popping up. He doesn't know that Lady Gotham is very invested in him meeting her Knights. Danny doesn't know that he's caught the eye of a certain undead Knight.
Danny is not ready for this new stage of his life, but he's going to commit to being a True Gothamite!

Now Jason never found himself parent material. Sure he takes care of any street kids when he can but ultimately, most of his time is spent where he’s being shot at, blown up, or fighting Batman. He doesn’t have time to raise a kid nor mentally stable enough.
So when a baby falls out of a weird looking portal and straight into him. He’s left with a dilemma. Either raise the kid that looks oddly similar like him or leave them to be someone else's problem. Added bonus to his troubles, the baby seems to always end up in danger.
