That the man would manage to get the nurse into his arms. But despite everything — the strength, the pain, the lack of air — the nurse fought, yanking her own head forward before reaching for Trinity with teary eyes.

An action that lasted a second. A mere second, but felt like forever. Trinity knew at that moment that she would never be able to forget those big, scared brown eyes. Tearfilled, as they looked at Trinity with desperation.
It didn’t matter that Langdon had gotten away with endangering patients and stealing drugs. That Garcia had thrown her own words back at her and it had stung. That she might repeat her R2 year before even starting it.

For Robby, stepping in to save the Pitt from the consequences of poor management decisions is just part of his job and if the acting head of IT takes a walk God only knows how long they're going to be stuck in the Stone Ages doing all their charting by hand. The decision to go after her and beg her to save their asses-- that decision has consequences nobody saw coming. Canon divergent as of S02E07, with the starting point of "let's imagine dealing with the cyberattack was a much more involved process than it ultimately turned out to be, and of course Robby stays a few extra days to try and keep the whole Pitt house of cards from falling down."
