Summary
Fushiguro Megumi is drowning in student debt after finishing college early, now needing an apartment of his own. He finds the perfect place, good amenities, location, and price- sounds perfect.
Of course, there's a catch. The apartment comes with another feature, Sukuna Ryomen, the owner in need of a roommate.
But it's fine, Megumi nearly forgets he has a roommate due to Sukuna avoiding him like the plague. That is, until Megumi allows himself to get too curious, sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong while trying to figure out the strange unease that Sukuna’s presence and habits possess.
But what happens when Megumi starts unraveling the secrets around Sukuna, the horror of his discovery perfectly timed with the people in town beginning to turn up dead?

Megumi’s breath caught as he looked up, finding himself face-to-face with the khal. Sukuna’s eyes were even more intense up close, dark red and piercing, his expression inscrutable as he studied Megumi’s face.
His thumb brushed over Megumi’s cheek, almost curious, before his eyes flicked down, taking in the silk gown that clung to his frame. His lips twitched, a glint of amusement in his gaze before he spoke, his voice deep, rough, and in a language Megumi didn’t understand.
“He’s prettier than I expected.”

Summary
Megumi presented as an omega around a month before his sixteenth birthday. His father was definitely not pleased — he gave him scent blockers, then promptly disappeared. Megumi thought it'd be another one of those one or two-week disappearances, then Toji would be back drunker than ever...but it had been over three weeks, and Megumi was running out of food and worrying about the heating being turned off in the middle of winter.
On his birthday, Megumi goes over to the Itadoris. No one remembers Megumi's birthday, except his best friend Yuuji's alpha brother Sukuna, who has suddenly taken an interest in him and his well being. Maybe Megumi will be fine after all.

His hand spanned Megumi’s jaw, skin scorching skin as it slid back and over his neck. Thumb cutting up under his jaw, his hand sat heavy over Megumi’s scent gland.

Doctor Ryoumen Sukuna has no idea that this Nightshift will change everything when nurse Shoko calls him for help in the ER.
Its an unconscious teenager, black out drunk and not even able to form a coherent word. He was found laying on the cold hard ground right in front their hospital doors. Of course Sukuna helps him, it's his job as the head physician of the ER, but he also has a soft spot for cases like this one.
The dark haired boy has no personal items on him, not even a phone or an ID, his clothes are dirty and partially torn apart, his hair grimy and unwashed and heos obviously malnourished. It's clear as day that he is in trouble and not your typical party drunk who couldn't hold his liquor. He was a special case, and Sukuna wanted to find out more about him. Unfortunately, this boy hated his guts before he could even talk to him.
