This was a terrible idea. An excruciating, tantalizing car crash of an idea. Keith should never have agreed to this. It was everything he’d ever wanted and more. He was never going to be able to come back from this.
Careful metal fingertips traced his jaw, tipping his face up to meet gentle, storm grey eyes. He was close, so close. “Everything okay?” Shiro asked, quietly.
“Of course,” Keith said. "Everything is fine.”
It was a bald-faced lie; everything was not fine. It was wonderful and devastating and nowhere in between.

Two, Tim Drake hates having like twelve million jobs. [A surprise to no one but Tim]
Three, Tim Drake cannot remember the last time he wasn’t sore, hiding an injury, or just running around to put out the next metaphorical fire. [Again, not a surprise]
Four, Kon is a fantastic masseuse. [No, Tim is not telling him. It will only inflate his ego.]
Five, Kon’s control of his TTK has gotten infinitely better. [Again, not telling him.]
And six, the world totally doesn’t fall apart when Tim takes a break. [Pay no attention to Gotham City nearly burning to a crisp]

[Their bodies were pressed together, not a single inch separated them, as every point of contact was burning with shared warmth. Kon’s hand was resting on Tim’s chest: the touch felt almost like an open flame, that was engulfing every finger and threatening to eat the flesh. Perhaps he should have pulled back, but he found himself pressing his hand more against Tim’s chest, fingers almost curling up. While their faces were barely apart, his heartbeat pounded in his ears, each inhale too heavy, too loud in that small, enclosed space.]
A screw up on the field during a mission results in Tim and Kon getting stuck together in a trap. Repressed feelings will bubble up, realizations will happen:
Kon? Too unaware to realize his feelings on his own.
Tim? Too much of an avoidant to act on them.

Summary
In the dog days of summer, Keith hauls a kiddie pool out of the shed so his wolf can cool off. Shiro pays the price.
“We could shave him,” Shiro points out. For the ninth time.
Just as he had the last eight times this was brought up, the wolf’s head perks and he lets out a low whine. It’s unclear how much the wolf understands of English—even to Keith—but he figures the wolf functions more off the mental impressions that come with words than anything else. Still. “No, we can’t. It wouldn’t be dignified.”
Shiro looks meaningfully at where the nearly 55kg cosmic wolf is currently lolling in the undignified blue kiddie pool decorated with yellow ducks and green frogs.

Keith is a verified size queen, and Shiro proves his big dick energy isn’t just a metaphor.
Keith doesn’t want to hear the tragicomedy of some alpha getting dragged for his respectable enough dick size.
Tiredly, he starts in on his leg stretches. It’s wonderfully mindless to focus on the burn in his thighs as he leans into his splits. When his forehead touches the mat, he wonders if he could sleep here. Nice as the nap would be, he knows it’s not worth it. Everyone would scold him. ‘See!’ they’d say, eyes big and lovingly judgmental. ‘You need to rest! This will be your first heat in years and you don’t even have a heat partner! Look at this informative omegan health pamphlet!’
But Keith doesn’t need informative omegan health pamphlets, he needs a nap. And a dick.
