After a mission goes awry, The Jackals are placed on a new initiative: they now must become the face of a new social movement geared towards integrating Metas into human society. It's no easy task. Thrust into the spotlight, The Jackals must learn how to be ambassadors and not mercenaries; even though humanity has long since rejected them.
It's not what they want to do at all. But they have to do it, because who else will? As they navigate their new role, trouble begins to brew within MSBY. Trouble that brings with it the potential to make everything The Jackals have come to care for all fall apart in the blink of an eye.

Because underneath all the frustration, the guilt he feels for letting down his teammates, his brother. Letting down Kita. Underneath all of that there is this fire burning inside him; probably an ugly bright shade of orange, that is calling his name. Calling him to be better, to imagine a future where he doesn’t lose, where his brother doesn’t leave the only thing they’ve had to pursue another path, where Miya Atsumu is standing at the top of the world. And Hinata Shouyou is standing right there with him.
