Summary
"Nolan, back into the pits—you're needed in the medical center."
Nolan's heart is beating out of his chest, so fast he's afraid he might fall out of his car when he drives into his pit stall and climbs out of the car as fast as he possibly could. TK catches him as he stumbles, eyebrows crinkled and trying his best to not make it seem like he was about to lose his mind.
"Alex is being checked out in the medical center, and so is Pato." TK is telling him, but he doesn't really process it, the words flying over his head at the speed of an Indycar.

Summary
He's mildly peeved that Dale had tossed his phone off to the side. He probably makes a great picture right about now — debauched beyond belief, eyes half-lidded with Dale's cock sitting on his tongue like a lollipop.
But he's also not necessarily focused on that right now, more focused on trying to cum like a teenage boy or hump the carpet while trying to get off.
"Yeah, okay.", Dale rasps hoarsely, eyes half on Kasey, and half on Jimmie, who nods, "I'll give you what you want, baby."

He could leave. The psychiatrist wouldn't know—would she? If he just, didn't take the medication, or even pick it up from the pharmacy.
Or. She could get it mailed to his house. That would be much worse.
Chase turned his heel towards the hospital pharmacy.

Summary
The cowboy stared up at him, and for a moment they locked eyes, his bright-shining brown eyes, against Jeff's covered eyes. It was Junior. Even underneath all the gear and worn-out eyes, Jeff could point out an Earnhardt from any lineup ever. They all carried themselves the same way.
Dale stared at him in shock for a moment, eyes going wide with horror, before the cowboy behind him bumped him, and he quickly rode forwards—eyes never looking back towards Jeff. He watched as the horse trotted forwards, away from Jeff's seat in the arena.

Summary
Chase is still highly unsure of his place within the Hendrick pack. It feels like when you're the new kid at school — and everyone's already in their little groups, and you're left scrambling around to find where you belong.
Except, he's not on the playground anymore.
He's still not quite certain of the dynamics at play within the little pack, trying to piece together whatever is going on like a puzzle that keeps on getting bigger.

Summary
“Kyle,” Dalton’s voice comes through the other side. He sounded distraught, on the verge of tears.
Something’s wrong.
Kyle shoots up in bed, phone still held to his ear, “Dalton? What’s wrong? Why are you calling me right now?” His voice is verging on panic, his heart pounding in his chest.
Colton’s slowly sitting up beside him in the bed, cautious and carefully. He reaches for Kyle, gently pulling him towards Colton’s chest, a quiet support.
Dalton goes quiet over the phone, sniffling before he says, “Kyle–Logan’s—he’s dead.”

Summary
Chase was this close to sneaking out of the shop and leaving before someone caught him and dragged him to another meeting when he just wanted to go home when he felt a tap on his shoulder, the smell of cherries and firewood behind him.
He spins around, and sees Kasey standing behind him, the older omega with a mischievous grin on his face that he had come to learn meant he had a plan concocted up.
“What’d you want, KK?” Chase asks with a sigh. He knows he’s being a brat but a day of nothing but press appearances and meetings have worn his patience thin. “Really, I just want to go home.”

Summary
“Woah–” Austin catches him under the armpits before he bites straight into the sheet metal of his car, “You alright?”
Ryan’s head is spinning a little bit and he has a sinking feeling what’s wrong with him, but instead of telling Austin anything about it, he says, “Yeah–just lost my balance there for a moment.”
Austin doesn’t seem to really believe him for even a single moment, but just hums and says, “Okay…if you’re sure.”
His head is spinning like a fucking bitch and the little meal he ate before the race is about to make it’s way out of his throat, but overall–he was doing absolutely fantastic.

Summary
It’s not very surprising news, after all–Kasey hadn’t raced in over a month, and the speculation was already running wild.
But it does sting a little bit, when Kasey announces his retirement abruptly before the season was even over, citing health issues and burn out over the series, wanting to stay home and recover again–and Chase has to find out through the media circus.

“And we have a pack room, of course–,” the Hendrick employee showing him around the campus says, “This is the driver’s room. I think Kahne and Johnson might be in there right now, but you can go on in.”
He was aware of the oddity of the Hendrick pack’s dynamic. Jimmie was the only beta in a four person team, while the other three were omegas. After all, it had been the talk of the garage, and the media–how NASCAR was being led by omegas.

“Is that my hoodie?,” Dale asked, amused.
He’d just gotten home from a long day at the shop, and been greeted by the pair’s cats, but not by his boyfriend–who was laid out on the couch, engrossed in whatever video was playing on his phone.
Kasey looked up from his phone, face flushed. He was bundled in a black NBC Sports hoodie, one of the ones given out to their announcers. A pair of Dale’s sweatpants hung loosely on his hips, tied only tight enough to make sure they didn’t fall off completely.

Summary
Buddy was missing from his trailer, which would be fine if he was just in his normal spots but he wasn’t and now Dale was getting stressed.
He’s been walking around the garages, trying to not look like he’s stealing team secrets, because Buddy loves hanging out in the warm tyres whenever he gets outdoor time, and he doesn’t get an answer to his question until he sees Elliott Sadler, sitting next to two cats curled up next to each other in the Evernham garage area.
One cat is a small black cat, less than a year old, while the other was Buddy–curled up right next to the black cat
