Tony paused mid-sentence, eyes darting to the crowd. Everyone's heads were turning left and right with confusion, wondering who the hell would boo Iron Man. He continued, "To international concerns over unsanctioned actions and consequences by—"
"This guy sucks!"
"—enhanced individuals and members of the Avengers to create a system of accounta—"
"Show us your tits!"
"Okay, who the hell—" Tony gave up and lifted a hand above his eyes, blocking the light to see the crowd better. His eyes scanned each person's face, trying to locate the shit that kept interrupting his speech, and followed everyone's gazes to the ceiling. He froze as his eyes fell on a red and blue clad vigilante sitting in the beams.
Spider-Man looped his legs around the beam he was on and swung to hang upside down. Cupping his gloved hands around his mouth, he shouted, "Tell a joke!"

OR: The Accords dehumanize and discriminate against enhanced individuals. Spider-Man isn’t very happy about this. (Spider-Man happens to also be a foster kid who is in dire need of a mentor.)

By that, he means that every time he sees him, a part of him dies and he needs to have a bathroom break. Also, Draco Malfoy is not a normal boy. He's a deity.
Harry might be slammed into the lockers by this Greek god, but honestly? Absolutely worth it.

“You’ve been ‘reading’ that same file for the past thirty minutes. C’mon, what’s up?” Mobius figured he’d try the understanding route first.
“Nothing.”
The agent raised an eyebrow.
“Well, I suppose I may be a little tired, but it’s nothing that you should be concerned about.”
That was surprising. Both the honesty and the bluntness of the statement. Perhaps Loki’s front may be only half of a deception.Series

“I think you could’ve done this someplace other than my desk,” Mobius placates with his hands on his hips, pushing down his growing awe.
He has to take the high road here. One of them should. Though that’s kind of hard when Loki leans into the tiny scraps of praise.
“Alright, fine... it’s pretty impressive,” Mobius admits in fond exasperation.
To think, Loki really made this from a not-so-secret stash of plastic knives. It's more than impressive - it's spectacular. But these knife-related incidents are also really getting of hand and have to stop.
“I call it Loki Liberty.”
“Still hung up on New York, huh?”
Loki always has something up his sleeve, especially when that thing can’t be a real knife.

Mobius shakes his head, mouth curling around a wry smile.
“Yeah. Not buying it.”
“I’ll give you better words, then,” Loki says simply, like his suggestion is a very good one and he can’t fathom why Mobius would ever refuse him.
Ducking his head a fraction, Mobius reins in his amusement.
“How about this?” hands folded on the table, he watches Loki intently. “If you tell me why, I’ll answer.”
A soured expression clouds Loki’s face, lips pinched tight. He jumps off the table.
“Nice try. But I’m not in the mood to play patient and therapist.”
Leaning back in his seat, Mobius twiddles with his pen merrily.
“Ah, well. It was worth a shot. Maybe next time.”
Oh yeah. Loki is definitely up to something.

It had been even worse before they'd left the atrium, Loki's eyes gradually drooping until he'd rested his head on his crossed forearms, eyelids drifting shut and ink-spill hair curling behind the pale skin of his ear. Mobius had watched him for a while, wishing he could unravel that complicated brain half as well as he pretended he could. Loki was someone he had learned to predict, yes, but that didn't mean he could read between the lines of everything that Loki didn't say, everything that flitted through that clever mind that he immediately shelved away, never letting himself feel anything in full.
