Bellamy Lake and River Song are a dynamic duo. At least, that’s how Bell would describe them. The authorities would rather describe them as ‘wanted in multiple states’ and ‘menaces to society’ but that’s just semantics. River is just along for the ride, and the very nice perks that come from conning old men out of their money, while her wife is in it for the thrill of the con.
Yasmin Khan is working at a bank that is being robbed and finds herself taken hostage by a conwomen. Used as leverage to escape from a tight situation, thus begins a change in career that she never knew she wanted.

They're almost in Central Park when the Doctor stops so suddenly that it takes the sound of Yaz crashing into her to halt Graham and Ryan in their tracks, already four steps ahead.
“Doctor..?” Yaz clears her throat cautiously, all too aware of the tenseness suddenly present in the Doctors shoulders. “All right?”
For a long moment, the Doctor says nothing, her eyes fixed on a small building on the corner of the park; Yasmin follows her gaze, and sees a brightly-lit dinner, its doors thrown open to reveal red leatherette booths and a gleaming bar.
“Anyone for another milkshake?” the Doctor asks suddenly, shoving her hands in her pockets and striding forwards briskly.”Love a milkshake, come on, fam!”

All of this is made difficult by the fact that the Doctor's office neighbor is none other than Professor River Song, and she wants nothing more than to get her wife's help in the matter.

When the one door finally opens, and an unexpected soft orange-blue glow shines through, River feels slightly on edge for a brief moment. She catches sight of golden crystalline pillars and honeycombs walls, quickly realising this is going to be a face she’s not seen before. So she stands tall, holds her smirk tight, and waits albeit impatiently for a brand new man to walk through midnight blue doors.
