Summary
On their way back to Erid, Rocky and Grace discover a mysterious box. Upon opening it, the two discover some strange changes. Well, perhaps way more than strange.
Rocky finds a new marking on his arm similar to Grace's scar, and Grace finds markings similar to Rocky's on his arms and legs.
Rocky begins to dream and can easily wake from sleep, and Grace can stay up for much longer than a normal human should.
Grace starts seeing sound when it's too dark to properly see, and Rocky starts seeing pops of colour in his sound vision.
Neither can understand what's happening to them and how they're seemingly linked together, but they know there's nothing in the world that could tear them apart.
(TLDR: This fic will include almost everyone's favourite things! Rocky learns about how Grace got on the Hail Mary (Including Rocky witnessing the memory of Grace being sent on the Hail Mary)! Grace can survive in Rocky's atmosphere! Grace will live as long as Rocky! Rocky and Adrian reuinite and Adrian meets Grace! It sends an aching pang through her chest. He’s always on her side, puts her above everyone else—including himself. He has shown it to her time and time again, proved to her repeatedly that nothing is more important to him than she is. And that—that worries her.

Someone had set a fire in protest outside the United Nations. Smoke rose, obscuring the flags. “NOAA said this morning that all of the Eastern Seaboard needs to be evacuated. American refugees are flooding into Canada. Too many tensions, huh? Going to cause a war if we don’t do something. So what are we waiting for?”
“A vote.” Bucky’s voice was sour and quiet as he shoved off from the wall and walked over. “We’re a team. We act like one. So we’ll vote on it.”

Bob didn’t move for a moment. His dark eyes were fixed on the floor, on the crack between the elevator and the floor to her room. On the void between, tiny and endless, a crack of pitch blackness in the building that eyes never saw and a finger couldn’t fit into, but a void all the same. “Do you… want to talk about that?” he asked, his voice quiet and low and cautious.

Summary

Over the years, as Sirius’s edges become sharper and crueler, Remus wonders whether that version of Sirius is gone forever, especially after Sirius betrays Remus’s secret by telling Severus Snape about the Whomping Willow entrance.
Remus realizes then how dangerous it is to love Sirius Black.
After Sirius runs away from home, he breaks Remus’s heart a second time by dating James Potter.
“James and I were just a friends-with-benefits arrangement,” Sirius insists later.
Remus isn’t sure what to believe. And then Sirius asks him a favor:
“Can you kiss me? In front of James.”
Sirius is convinced this is the only way to help James move on with Lily. And Remus finds himself unable to say no.
