Summary
The halls of Hogwarts remain the same as Snape walks through them one more time on that first day of September. It is the beginning of the course, the war finished in May, and now students giggle and talk and chatter excitedly as every other year, but it makes Severus frown. It almost feels as if the war never happened, as if nothing changed.
Severus shouldn't have survived the war, he never intended to, and yet here he is, once again locked in that bloody castle with students he hates. And with him.

“Otherwise Harry will die”, they said.
Well. He has no fucking idea who 'Harry' is, and Black is a particular pain in his ass even post-graduation, but Severus just cannot run from a challenge, can he?
After all, winning a war couldn’t be that complicated.

Summary
Nancy anguishes over having to tell Steve that she doesn’t feel the same way about him, but the last thing she wants to do is lead the poor guy on.
So Nancy Wheeler goes to break Steve Harrington’s heart for what feels like the dozenth time, but when she arrives she’s surprised to find one Eddie Munson already there. And it becomes obvious fairly quickly that Nancy doesn’t have to say a damn thing because as it turns out, Steve’s heart isn’t even hers to break anymore.
Or, Nancy finds out Steve and Eddie are boneing when she accidentally stumbles across their porno-Polaroid stash.

Summary
Eddie’s room was as much of a mess as its owner, and it was kind of very obvious what had been going on in there before Steve and Dustin gracelessly interrupted. Steve might have blushed if he had time to dwell on it, but he didn’t, because the moment the door was more or less shut, Eddie rounded on him.
“Listen, Harrington,” he hissed, “If Billy Hargrove was to be believed, you took it up the ass from him on several occasions. So a little less of the judgy eyes, yeah?”

When Steve spots someone fleeing Eddie's bedroom, he's reminded of past cravings. And after being on the straight and narrow for months, he gives in.
