“Um.” Jungkook looked like he was trying to determine how much to reveal, but his gaze dropped to Taehyung’s lips, then his neck, and it was practically screaming with intention. He pressed his lips together momentarily and toyed with the piercing on his lower one, then he finally looked up again. “Yeah. They’re definitely a strong contributing factor.”

Summary
Kim Taehyung gets cheated on, divorced, loses his job, and essentially hits rock bottom in the span of eight months. His desperation for some kind of stability (and sanity) drives him to his childhood hometown, a place he has carefully avoided in years because things with his dad are still awkward and he's too scared of revisiting old wounds.
He tells himself it’s just for a while. Just until he gets his bearings. No fuck ups, no distractions, and no accidentally sleeping with a subordinate and getting fired because of it (in Taehyung’s defense, he didn’t even know the guy).
Enter Jeon Jeongguk. Handsome, charming, and totally off limits.
