A smirk formed on Strohl’s lips, apparently amused by Will’s question. “I might consider it if the king wasn’t so interested in me. He wanted me all for himself, or so I heard.”
Will wasn't so fond of the marriage proposals Strohl had been getting from the noble house lords. He tried to be civil about it, however.
