Life had been rather simple for Asa Fell and Anthony Crowley – some might even say boring! That is, until now. As the pair stumble into each other’s lives (unbeknownst to any… prior history…) on one seemingly random Saturday, they are faced with flashes of images and words and smells and well, lives, that seem to disappear as fleetingly as they arrived. And thus, a fussy bookseller and a (formerly) fast-living astrophysicist must navigate their developing relationship whilst grappling with something much larger than they could have ever imagined...
Oh! And somehow they have come into possession of a book written by someone named Nutter…

One year after the Apocalypse-That-Wasn't, Crowley and Aziraphale have settled into a new routine: keeping an eye on supernatural happenings in the world and preventing Heaven or Hell from interfering too much with humanity. It's not a bad job - despite occasional rains of fish - and if there are some unspoken things they really ought to talk about, well, they have all the time in the world now to get around to that, right?
At least, until the Archangel Raphael turns up on their doorstep looking for help... and it starts to become clear that the world is changing fast, and so are they.
Or: Crowley and Aziraphale start a detective agency. Shenanigans ensue. Slowburn continues. Apparently, there is plot. I have some thoughts about Heaven, Hell, and humanism. There will be stupid jokes and a healthy sprinkling of angst.

A year after season two, Aziraphale is trapped in Heaven.
He sees Crowley living on Earth, all alone and in trouble. With help, he manages to act accordingly.
Crowley’s heartbreak leads to him to being a damsel in distress.
Excerpt:
Aziraphale recalled what he’d seen out his office window. With it’s close and clear view of London, Earth.
He hadn’t meant to zoom in where he did. The scene had appeared against his will.
A certain demon. All alone and buying several cases of the worst scotch he’d ever tasted. Oodles of it.
Something he drank when he didn’t care about quality, only getting drunk as fast as possible.
Crowley looked bad. Aziraphale didn’t think he’d ever seen him with a hair out of place, and certainly never in dirty clothes and flip flops.
But there he was. The only familiar part of his attire had been his sunglasses.

Crowley is not supposed to be here. As far as he knows, he’s not supposed to even exist. Crowley finds himself struggling to breathe, forgetting to exhale on every other wheeze. He needs to calm down. And make a list of what he does know, like humans do.
1. He’s alive, and somewhat breathing. That’s good.
2̶. I̶̶f̶̶ h̶̶e̶̶’s̶̶ a̶̶l̶̶i̶̶v̶̶e̶̶, A̶̶z̶̶i̶̶r̶̶a̶̶p̶̶h̶̶a̶̶l̶̶e̶̶ l̶̶i̶̶k̶̶e̶̶l̶̶y̶̶ i̶̶s̶̶ t̶̶o̶̶o̶̶.
2. He’s lost his regular vessel, and now inhabits a far more human-presenting version.Well. There are two things that Crowley knows, for sure. He doesn’t even want to start thinking about what he doesn’t. He stares at his own reflection for a second longer, before he adds…
3. He utterly loathes this new vessel.

The last thing Crowley remembers is God wiping him from existence holding his lover's hand. Then, he finds himself thrown into a decrepit human vessel.
