Easily one of my favorite drarry reads of all time. What can I even say about Another Mask Behind You. It's fucking fantastic. Cannot recommend highly enough. Identity porn galore. Gestures wildy. I love lettered's fics for how real they feel. Draco and Harry here are both fucked up. Their relationship is not perfect and they are not perfectly happy, either, which is why I love it. Mildly bittersweet ending. Whole thing is catnip. Draco is so-ooo fucked up. I love him.
God, the identity reveal is so good. I like how clearly fucked up Draco is, and that this work has empathy for him anyway, and lets him be happy. I'm so fond of him and his many issues. I love Harry and his issues too, of course, even though he does not have quite as many as Draco.
My opinion on post-canon Drarry is that no matter what happens in their future, they'll never be able to completely get over their previously acrimonious relationship. They're not perfect together, they do not end up together naturally, and they can't let go of their first impressions. They love each other and try really, really hard anyway. This fic is about trying hard. And it's very good.
