Summary
Sukuna leans in some more, nearly closing the gap between them. Megumi’s fingers tighten around the egg, his eyes falling close in anticipation of the kiss that’s about to land, but at the slightest brush of Sukuna’s lips on his, he feels movement below and immediately, his eyes fly open.
He instinctively takes a couple steps back, moving the egg behind him as his eyes narrow, glaring at Sukuna, who’s already slyly drawing one arm back into the folds of his cloak.
“Really? You thought that would work? Are you seriously going to try to seduce me to get an egg??”
Sukuna looks unrepentant. “If you put it that way, it sounds really wrong.”
Megumi, a very skillful thief, sneaks into a banquet to steal a dragon egg in possession of the crown prince. It's there that he meets Sukuna, the last remaining dragon rider in the world, also looking to retrieve the stolen egg - at whatever cost necessary.
