Summary
Stiles disconnected the line and stopped at the front entrance to the building. He gazed up to look at the windows that overlooked the area. He loved it here – he loved the home he had made with Peter. Regardless of his young age at the time, they had made it work. The two of them cohabited well together. His father hadn’t been totally on board with the plan at the time due to his age but Stiles was determined and stubborn. He knew what he wanted. And for the most part, it had worked out well. Yes, as with a lot of relationships, there was some turbulence and the age difference didn’t help.
And Stiles had issues that he had having trouble dealing with. He was tired of bringing Peter down with him especially when he spiraled. Stiles believed and still does that he did the right thing two years ago.
Since he arrived back, the wolf has been kind and seemingly is okay with how Stiles handled things.
Stiles on the other hand, doesn’t know if he can ever forgive himself for when he walked out that door.
