Hello everyone! I'm back!
Thank you so much for being such good sports (for the most part) and enjoying my first two stories: The Raven’s Call, and The Princess and the Dragon.
In case y’all didn’t already catch on — I kind of adore Aemond Targaryen… or, at least, the idea of what he could be based on what we get in HotD. That introverted, tormented soul who just wants love and affection. Unfortunately, most people in that time end up associating power with getting those things, but that’s a whole other soapbox.
Anyway… I’m usually pretty up front about the inspirations behind my stories. This one will be no exception.
I love stories where one event, one character, or one action changes — and everything changes as a result. I love those. I also love time travel fix-its, as you might have guessed by now. Some of my favorites (both here and on ff.net) include:

I am a big fan of GoT as well, and I wanted to know, what would it be like for Aemond to have a family that loved him? The Old Gods grant his wish, and he winds up in Winterfell in 291 AC. How would that change his life, and the lives of everyone around him? How might it change the story we know?

FYI — the warnings are for attempted suicide in one chapter, and mourning/grieving a character (whom is believed to have committed suicide) in another. PPS -- This fic focuses on the political machinations of GOT, with a little bit of magic thrown in there (direwolves, dragons). The White Walkers do not appear in this fic. I repeat: THE WHITE WALKERS DO NOT APPEAR IN THIS FIC. If that is something you can't live without, you have been warned. Please don't leave comments about it.
