Chapter Text
It has been almost four months since the split in the Avengers team that divided them into Iron Man's team and Captain America's team caused the relationship between each member to change drastically. However, after two months of trying to repair their relationship after the accord-related issues were resolved, the relationship between each member has gradually improved to what it was before the conflict. Steve and his colleagues have returned to the Avengers Tower. Although there is still some awkwardness inside, they are still trying to be there for each other. Especially for Tony Stark himself.
He has forgiven Bucky for the death of his parents because it was not entirely his fault nor Steve who had been hiding it from him all this time. Even so, their relationship is still a little awkward when only the three of them are in the same room. At least their movie night schedule continues to fix this. Like what they are doing tonight.
Everyone was watching a movie that Clint had chosen (since it was his turn). He sits on the floor with Sam and Bucky. Tony and Pepper sat on the couch, Bruce next to Tony followed by Rhodey. Thor and Loki are sitting on their bean bags. Nat took her place in the armchair. Steve was on the single couch while Wanda and Vision were on the couch nearby. Sometimes they commented on some scenes from the movie and occasionally had small arguments. Shortly after, the movie ended and then changed to the news channel.
"A new superhero has emerged. He had just caught the perpetrator of a bank robbery in Queens tonight. However, after catching the robbers he left the scene quickly and only left the criminals with their bodies attached to the floor with some kind of special net. One resident who was near the scene said that the superhero was named Spiderman. He also said that Spiderman is a figure known as the protector of Queens from crimes both small and big."
"New superhero, eh." Clint chuckled.
"That guy said that his name is Spiderman. Do you think he's half a spider?" asked Sam while quoting the word spider.
"Could be." replied Bruce who was cleaning his glasses.
"Eww."
"Hm, I like spiders." said Loki who grinned faintly.
"How strong do you think he is?" Wanda asked this time.
"I don't know. But I'd love to meet him. Maybe we could have an arm wrestling match." replied Thor with a chuckle.
Meanwhile, Tony had been silently watching the news without commenting as usual. "Tony, what's wrong? You're not usually this quiet." asked Rhodey which made everyone look at him.
"Hm? It's nothing. Just thinking about something." said the mechanic.
"Are you okay?" Pepper asked as she took his hand, squeezing it gently.
Tony turned to her and smiled. "Of course I'm fine Pep. There's nothing to worry about. I just thought I'd add some new updates to my suit. Aaaaannd that means I have to go to the lab now." he explained as he stood up and left for the elevator after giving her a peck on the cheek.
Upon arriving at the lab and making sure no one was following, Tony turned on the holoscreen on one of the tables.
"FRIDAY."
"Yes, Boss?"
"Search for any information about Spiderman."
