Chapter Text
The fire in the call center was raging and May was terrified as she tried to find an escape route and she hoped and prayed that Bobby was on his way to save her.
When Bobby found out May was still in the building he was completely scared for the girl he came to see as his own daughter and he immediately handed over control to Captain Shore and told Donato to team up with him as they were going in.
Eddie and Ravi were busy looking for the worker that was supposed to be in the building and they were having trouble until Ravi saw a pair of legs and luckily they belonged to the contractor.
After getting the contractor out of the building and handing him over to the paramedics on the scene they both went and grabbed some water to cool themselves down.
Back in the building Bobby is calling out for May and he is trying not to think of the worst.
“May call out, May honey can you hear me” Bobby shouts out.
Bobby tries calling out again but he hears complete silence and he is now scared.
May is starting to feel the fire and she only hopes that her family knows that she loves them.
“May call out, May honey call out” Bobby shouts out and May can hear him getting closer and closer.
“Bobby I'm in here, I'm in here” May called out.
When Bobby heard May's voice calling out he was relieved and he found the room and barged in and he immediately pulled her into a hug.
“You ok?” Bobby asks.
“Yeah I'm fine,” May says.
“Let's go” Bobby says.
May follows Bobby and she knew the man would come and when she gets out of here she is going to speak to him about adopting her.
The fire is getting worse and the building is starting to shake and Bobby knows they don't have much time.
Bobby and May are nearly to the end when half the roof comes down on Bobby.
“BOBBY” May screams.
“This is Captain Shore. We have a major structural collapse. All teams evacuate the building” Captain Shore says over the radio.
“BOBBY SAY SOMETHING” May screams again.
“May we need to go” Lucy says and she drags May with her and they exit the building.
When May and Lucy get outside May is frantically trying to get back into the building but Lucy isn't letting go of her.
“Captain Shore we need to get back in there as Captain Nash is down” Lucy says.
When the 118 hear that Bobby is still in the building they get their gear and get ready to head in.
“118 stand down” Captain Shore orders them.
The 118 look at her and they can't believe what they are hearing but they ignore her and continue to walk towards the building.
“118 I said to stand down now and that's an order” Captain Shore orders them again.
“We are not leaving our Captain in there” Chimney says.
“Firefighter Han I'm the Captain in charge and I have given you a direct order so again I'm ordering you all to stand down” Captain Shore says and this time she left no debate.
Captain Shore walks away and comes up with a plan of action with the other firefighters.
When Hen told May what Captain Shore said the girl was angry and she had half the mind to run into the building but one look from Hen stops her.
“May it's going to be ok we will get Bobby out don't worry” Hen reassures May.
“I hope you're right,” May says.
Back in the building Bobby starts to regain consciousness and he can tell that he is still in the building and when he tries to move he screams out in pain.
Bobby always knew that one day he may never come back from a call and as he looks at his wound and sees that he is impaled in the stomach with some pipe and he knows that day is today and he is glad he saved May from getting hurt as Athena would not have survived if her baby girl had died.
Bobby knows that he is dying and a part of him is ready as he will finally get to see Marcy and Robert JR and Brooke but the other part knows he is leaving Athena and May and Harry behind and he hopes they forgive him one day.
Bobby can feel his body getting ready to let him die and he doesn't fight it.
Just as Bobby's eyes close he sees a swarm of blue and white orbs that sink downwards and they begin to form a person.
“Marcy?” Bobby asks.
The light turns into a blonde curly-haired man with a pink birth mark on his eye. The man walks to him and kneels down.
“It’s not time to be with your old family, Bobby. It’s time to be with Athena and your other kids” The strange man says.
“But” Bobby goes to say.
The strange man removes the pipe and puts his hand over Bobby's wound and heals him. He takes his hand away and reaches out to Bobby.
“Take my hand Bobby” The strange man says.
For some reason Bobby trusts this strange man and does as he says.
Once Bobby's hands are safely in the strangers hands they turn into a swarm of blue and white orbs that rise upwards.
When outside the swarm of blue and white orbs sink downwards and Bobby appears near the entrance.
After Hen told May the news the woman decided to take a breath and get her emotions in check and while looking around she sees Bobby and she can't believe it.
“Bobby thank god you're alive” May screams.
“May I'm so glad you're ok” Bobby says and he reaches out his arms and she gives him a hug immediately.
“We need to let the others know that your ok” May says.
“We will just let me just hold you,” Bobby says.
Bobby is so glad he is alive but he wonders who the strange man was and how the hell he healed him.
Once the 118 find out Bobby is alive both Hen and Chimney get the gurney and they transfer Bobby onto it and they shut the door and get in the ambulance and head to the hospital.
From the sideline the strange man is watching Bobby getting put in the ambulance and he smiles as he knows that the man is going to be ok and the stranger orbs away.
