Summary
In the smoldering shadow of Orodruin, a star falls to earth, and Adar's withered heart finds new life among the ashes.
“Such a strange little star,” he whispered. “What dragged you from the heavens?” After years of naught but black speech and bitter silence, the Quenya was sticky on his tongue—the ripe flesh of fallen fruit. Adar’s fingers wound back into the silver hair, relishing its softness. “What malice has made you mine?”
TLDR: Aemond thinks he's died and gone to the Seventh hell. Adar thinks the Valar have pulled a star from the sky for him. They both act ~totally~ normally about it.
