Today's a bit different than usual, though. Today, Sif approached Loop and asked them to take a walk together. Usually it's been Loop to suggest they go off on one of their adventures, but not this time. Strangely, it prompted an immediate reaction from Loop. They jumped up from where they had been sitting, Sif snapped his fingers and cast [ Make Up the Time ], and they both took off running into the trees. You hope this ‘walk’ helps Sif.He looked like how they looked when he yelled at you all.

…you didn't mean for this to also turn into you sharing your own… ‘issues’ with Stardust. You know there's a comedy mask on you, just like how there was a tragedy mask on you and Stardust when you were both Siffrin (no, neither of you are ‘Siffrin' now, neither of you have been since the loops started) in your own loops. At least Stardust still has someone they are, once they took his mask off. You think you're only the comedy mask, now. There's nothing underneath it.You blink yourself out of your thoughts before you can ask Stardust for a round two. Neither of you are up for more fighting tonight, especially not after how much Craft you threw around. You focus back on Stardust and their tracing, watching their face. The bubbling mess of emotions about them hasn't gone away, and you're always left wanting to both take care of him and hurt him.
…these walks have always been for you, haven't they? A way to both hurt and help them. And that's what this is. You hurt him, then you have him talk to you so you can help him.
So blinding disgusting-
You jolt.
Stardust just tapped on your star.
They touched it.
They… touched it.
It felt like an electric current down your non-existent spine. Stardust squints, and you realize you're glowing more. You breathe, and the light dims.
“...’m sorry.” Stardust mumbles into your chest. You hug them tighter.
“No, no. It's ok, Stardust. It just… took me by surprise. I didn't even know that star still existed!” They tilt their head at you, and he just looks so adorable, looking so confused.
“But, you call it ‘your star?” Their eyebrows squint again, and you can't stop yourself from giggling. He looks at you, expression turning into a not-quite-glare deadpan, and you break into laughter.
“Oh *snrk* Stardust! You're so adorable when you're lost!” You let a few more giggles out, then finally address his question. “I always thought it was a scar, from where the star burned through me when I ate it.” Stardust jolts back, eyes wide, but you shake your head. “That's something to talk about next time, Stardust. Anyways!” You pull him back to your chest. “Didn't know it was still… there. Haven't been able to touch it myself. It's just flat to me.” They go back to tracing the edges as you talk.
“...but I could.”
“Yes, you could. I wonder why?” You watch their face contort as their finger pauses. They look up at you. You know what they're asking to do, and you nod. You both breathe in at the same time, and-
