Summary
For a moment, Astarion feels pity. A deep sadness, for the poor, beautiful wretch, before disgust wells up from somewhere deep inside. Then anger. Loathing. This stupid thing. This despicable thing that allows itself to be used again and again. That never once fought back. Astarion suddenly hates him, wants to smash his face in so he never has to see it again.
