Summary
The day was when they licked their wounds. It was a rare treat for Prometheus and Heracles to both survive the night and see each other again. Tonight, Heracles could sling Prometheus’ arm over his shoulder and carry him. Dripping wounds marred both of their bodies. Dislocated bones hid under their muscles. They were both so tired, but Heracles could resist the urge to collapse. Prometheus looked so peaceful as he lulled his head onto Heracles’ shoulder. Heracles let him.
