Summary
The gods have seen the end of the Song of Ice and Fire – and it ends wrong.

“Your Grace,” I said, dipping into a small, respectful bow.
I did not wait for permission to linger. I turned, gathering my skirts as I moved away, feeling the weight of their eyes lift from me with every step. The noise of the feast swallowed me again, but it no longer pressed in the same way.
Only when I reached the edge of the crowd did I allow myself to breathe. And even then, his words lingered.
