Dazai had a shitty week, mori gave him and the slug a lot of missions and just now he gave them a new one
An infiltration mission, he did those before but they were pretty short term and he always did them alone, now he has an infiltration mission that migth take months or even more time
Now he and slug have to prepare their luggage bags, it's stupid that he even needs to do it at all, it's not like he has a lot to pack, but it dosent matter right now
And that's how he ended up here, on his shipping container, trying to make his bag look at least a little bit coherent
He dosent have that many clothes, eigth dress shirts and one binder if it counts the ones he's wearing now, the same amount of pants, two casual shirts and a casual short, he also has sweater wich was a gift from koyou and some old socks and underwear had for years , he of course also packed his suppresants and puberty blockers also his phone , charger and Nintendo switch wich was gifted by mori last cristmas , if he needed anything more he could always buy it there , with his own money or with mori’s wich in hindsight it would be so much funnier wasting his money
He kinda wants wants to put his favorite blanket and plushie on his luggage, but he shouldnt? Rigth, it's not like he's going to regress on a mission, he'll just stay on suppressant and it'll be fine, he does need to discover how to smuggle them there tho since most places have banned suppressants since they are demed to have too many bad side effects
But that dosent matter, as long as it can keep himself from regressing hes fine with the side effects , now he just needs to wait for chibi to call him so they go to moris office a last time before going of to musutafu, it’s supposed to be a short trip , three hours and seven minutes if they don’t have any interuptions
after that it probably only take something like twenty minutes or less to get at the school they were supposed to be infiltrating in , the school had dorms so they would have to live there during the running time of the mission , they wouldn’t have near as much freedom and privacy so Dazai guessed he wouldn’t be able to drink for a while unless he was able to find a bar willing to serve alcohol to a sixteen year old which was very unlikely he’d find one
dear arahabaki , how much he’d miss oda and ango , he wouldn’t be able to just hide in Oda’s house if he felt like he might slip , nor could he cling to ango like a koala if he felt little , a thing he’d never admit to anyone is the fact that long ago his suppressants stoped working properly so sometimes he’d slip , tho it was nothing major, he’d be fine on this mission as long as if he kept himself away from other … Littles and Childish things and if accidentally sliped he’d just need to go to the room he’s supposed to be staying in , tho he’d miss his blankie and plushy soo much , maybe he really should bring them , he really dint want to be crying uncontrollably if he slipped as it would probably alert other residents of the dorm
Dazai finnaly made his decision , he’d bring his blanket and plush toy as long as he kept it on his bag all times he weren’t regressed since crying like a baby would cause suspicions if anybody heard him and having a ‘baby’ blanket and plushy on his bed would also be suspicious if someone as much as entered his room entered his room , Dazai finally finished packing his last belongings as he finnaly heard his phone ring , oh it must be Chuuya , time to go
as Dazai grabbed his backpack and opened his shipping containers door he’d seen ginger , he looked beautiful even tho he was just wearing his every day outfit, the same one he used every time they we’re going to mafia building and on their missions , he was on his car since kouyou San was the one that was going to take care of his car while they were on their mission, and I’d also be easier to carry their bags on the car , tho a driver would pick them up at the mafia base and bring them down to the train station , one of the only places that barriers were lifted in so people could enter and exit Yokohama
Dazai quickly entered the gingers car with his filled to the brim bad due to the last minute rearrangement so he could fit his stuffie and blanket in it , soon enough the duo started talking while Chuuya started the car and finnaly got to riding it , “ Hey mackerel you ready for this one “ of course I am slug , why wouldn’t I be ? “ “ for nothing you bandage waster “ “ yeah yeah keep your dumb puppy talk “ “ oh shut up , you talk as if don’t look like a fucking black cat “
both the boys proceeded to argue for about 10 more minutes while Chuuya continued driving the car in tge direction of the port mafia base , soon enough they could see the building in all its glory and bloodshed , now both of them only needed to go through koyou sans office to drop off chuuya’s keys and say their goodbyes since their contact would be very reduced while in their mission and possibly if allowed during the weekends tho it’d be very unlikely that mori would allow them to come back during a mission unless if for them to give them in person reports , then proceed to find hirotsu and give them the last papers that he needed for his next mission with the black lizards and then give him their goodbyes and farewells, , find dazai’s pupils and let the boy say his goodbyes to young gin and ryunosuke and then go to their last stop before going to the train station, the bosses office so they could get the last informations they needed for their mission and give him their last reports before going out to do their work for the time being
The two boys entered building and then proceeded to up to the fifteenth building, the place that heys be able to normally find hirotsu and the akutagawa siblings, after walking for a while they were Finnaly able to find hirotsu
“ hi there old man “ the Brunette said while the ginger reach towards hirotsu to give him the papers he needed “ good morning Mr dazai and young chuuya “the older man responded soon after dazai talked with him
“ I assume this is the last time well see each other in s while old man , please take care of my pupils , I should be able to visit you again during the next time I need to bring in person reports, please remember to make some sweets when I come to visit “ dazai said soon enough while the older man responded “ ofcourse me dazai they’ll be in good hands , “ thanks old man “ “ youre welcome mr Dazai “ the older said while looking at the kid he considered his grandchild “ uhm hey old man I’ll miss you also be okay “ the ginger said while looking at men he gotten to meet and understand over the course of the past few months being almost a year since joining the mafia “ I’ll miss you too young Chuuya , you both stay safe out there “ , “ thanks old man/hirotsu , were you think we could find the akutagawa siblings “ both the boys said at the same time , “ they should be close to here , I asked them both to go fetch me some other papers I deemed neede for black lizard’s next mission “ hirotsu said , thanks old man the brunette said while quickly dragging the ginger along with him
after a few minutes of walking both boys were able to find the akutagawas, the moment Dazai got his eyes onto the little kids he met just a few weeks ago , barely more than three moths he felt his hearth ache , those were his pupils , those wide eyed kids that looked so scared the moment he helped them , barely younger than himself , they reminded him of——— nonononono he shouldn’t think of, what ever , those were his pupils that he was going to let in another person care and yes , he knew hirotsu for year now but what if—— no hirotsu wouldn’t step so low , they be ok , if anything were to happen he alredy advised them to go directly towards koyou’s , they’re be ok he tougth them well , tho he dint have as many time he wished he had to train them enough on self defense before having to go on this stupid mission , yes he was harsh with them but he carried he really did and he’d try his best to help if they got hurt on a mission even tho he wasn’t the most equipped on the medicine arena, the most experienced of black dou would withouth questions be Chuuya , after dealing with Dazai for months one tends to learn how to treat wounds and other minor injuries and even more aggravated one
either way it was now or never that he’d be able to say goodbye to them before the mission’s start and their contact would be diminished, “ hey gin hey ryunosuke, hum me and the fish bastard came here to say our goodbyes before our mission starts so yeah good bye and I hope y’all like hirotsu’s training “ the ginger quickly said while being a little awkward since he hadn’t interacted much with either siblings only being here to wait for Dazai to say his goodbyes
“ hi Dazai San and thanks Chuuya San goodbyes and good luck on your mission “ both siblings said a little of sync but either way a little creepy yet cute , “ hello gin , hello ryunosuke, expect you two to be on you’re best behaviors while I’m gone , you two will be trained by hirotsu for the time being , I respect him a lot and I expect the same level of respect you two have towards me towards him , if anything out of the normal happens go directly to koyous office , I already advised her to let you two enter if anything happens , stay good and training, ryunosuke keep your asthma bomb with you , we don’t need you fainting mid training, gin keep your bandages up , , I’ll make an effort to see you two next time I come for a report but I can’t promise it , goodbye, you two should bring those papers to hirotsu now too“ the older boy said looking towards his two pupils, his words might’ve sounded harsh but if he wanted them to be correctly trained he should be harsh with them , ohh he’d miss them , tho he’d never admit it to anyone
“ yes Dazai San , goodbye we wish you luck , we’ll make sure to be on our best behaviors “ the older of the akutagawas quickly said , while his sister nodded along while saying a simply “ yes Dazai San , goodbye I we bye “
Chuuya and dazai quickly made their way towards the for where koyous office stays in , to be more exact on the 25 floor , just one floor above dazai’s and by extension honorarylly chuuyas’s too , both quickly made their way up to to koyou’s door , Chuuya being them first to knock the door , soon enough koyou opened her door waiting for both of the boys to enter “ oh hi there you two , will you both enter or not “ the older woman said while waiting the younger boys to enter
“ thank you for opening the door Ane San , cmon enter mackerel “ the ginger said while dragging Dazai inside “ hello koyou San , thanks for having us here “ the brunette said to koyou as soon as he entered the room “ would you both want to sit down “ koyou said as soon as they entered the room , she was busy that day but it wouldn’t prevent her from saying goodbye bye to the boys she felt she met ages ago , even tho she only known Chuuya for the last few months and only knew Dazai for the last few years , she grew to love the kids she met ages ago, she loved how polity Chuuya was even tho the first time he met her he looked so scared , justifiably so he just gotten stabbed and his only option for survival was entering the mafia , if she was in his place at his age she would also horrified , she also loved how Dazai was so soft when he got accustomed to the idea that she wasn’t a threat to him , oh god how she wished she would’ve helped more when—— no that’s not the time to lament about that , that was he last chance to say goodbye to them before their mission started, and she still needed to receive the key to chuuyas car , she promised she would take care of his car and motorcycle, the motorcycle was alredy at her penthouse’s parking lot and Chuuya said he would bring the keys before going on to the train station as it would also be their chance to say their goodbyes before leaving for the mission
“ here are my keys ane Ane san , I guess it’s our last time seeing each other before the mission starts , I hope were able to message you at least sometimes there but I’m not sure it’ll be possible, if it’s isn’t too much to ask could you hug me me “ the ginger said while quickly picking the keys from inside his pockets and handing it to the older woman , “ of course we can boy , I wouldn’t deny a hug for my favorite apprentice, here , I would wish you both luck on your next mission but I think we all alredy know how to do your jobs , I both please stay at your best behaviors, I also have a little something for you both “ koyou said while in bracing her pupil , then proceeding to grab a box from one of her offices drawers
“ what’s inside koyou San “ the brunette said quickly, he was curious as to what she would gift them , “ open and discover it Dazai “ the older woman said in response , “ can we open it now koyou San “ the ginger asked , “ of course boy , go open it “ koyou said in response to her pupils question
Chuuya proceeded to gently take the gift’s box from her hand and then open it , as soon as the box was open Chuuya was able to see two enamel pins , a black cat and a cocker spaniel dog , both with a golden edge witch he presumed to be gold , the ginger thought to himself that the dog must be his and the cat’s must be dazai’s , they were pretty , if anything a good gift and small so they’d be able to wear it no problem, as always koyous taste in gifts was awesome , soon enough Dazai grabbed the black cat enamel from its pin cushion and stared at it in awe , Chuuya also proceeded to grab his , gently pushing it out of its cushion, it looked to be very expensive, he should compensate it to koyou later but now he’d just appreciate her gift and her presence, Chuuya soon enough let a simple “ thank you very much Ane San “ , Dazai also proceeded to also say a quick “ thanks koyou San , until we need to come here to bring a report , goodbye “ , “ goodbye Dazai , I’ll be here waiting for you two once the mission ends , you two are welcome to join me to take some tea once your back from there “ koyou said to both boys while waiting for them to pass trough the door
Finally the brunette and ginger were able to get on their last destination on the building , the bosses office. It was a place that both of them normally liked to stray far from since it normally meant getting new missions and if they were being real working in the pm was exhausting, neither wanted to do more missions or paper work more than they already did , soon enough the taller boy of the two knocked on their bosses door , soon they received a response, a simple “ enter “ , both followed tge bosses order , opening the door they were able to see their boss and his ability, elise , the girl was drawing with crayons while laying stomach done on the carpet while kicking her feet up and down
“ oh you two finally arrived, I see that you both came to bring last mission report and presumably to hear wait have to say about that next mission, we’ll pass that report to me then and I’ll tell you to what you need to know “ the ravenett said while opening his hand to receive the report while still looking towards the file of papers he seemed to be filling, “ here boss “ the ginger said while quickly pulling out a pile of papers from the bag in his back , the same one holding inside the gifts koyou had just given to him and the brunette and his more personal belongings like his phone , charger and some of the little trinkets he had left from the flags , those were his most prized possessions, he wouldn’t trust anyone to take care of them while he was gone so he’s bringing them “ uhm well , the report looks well written, I’ll review it later , as I alredy know the mission was a success, well you both should sit down for the rest of the informations you two need to know before the mission starts “ the boss said while waiting for his employees to sit down, both boys soon listened to his commands and sitter down waiting for him to start talking once again
“ well, you two shouldn’t have to act too differently there , tho you two shouldn’t bicker as much infront of people, you two will act as bodyguards for the class 1A of this school , this mission is a favor for an old friend whom is the school’s principal and helped me long time ago so don’t give him trouble, i should also mention part of your disguises is that you two are going to be part of a ‘ redemption and rehabilitation program ‘ as that friend mentioned he wouldn’t like for the class to know you two are bodyguards, other than that just do your jobs as bodyguards and send me monthly reports and that mission should be a smooth sailing, the mission is supposed to end as soon as the school can localize the league of villains and put them in jail , I should also mention that the schoool is a place for training ‘ hero’s ‘ so you two should be fine using your abilities during school hours but do not use them after the campus lockdown , each of you will have your own bedroom and are going to recive your uniforms after the school principal, also don’t worry you two I convinced the principal to not make you two change in the same locker room as the other students so don’t worry about that , he’ll properly explain about it later , now in sure this all the information you two need , goodbye and good luck do not mess this up until your next report now go before you lose the train and get late to the job “ the older man said looking at the teens both soon rushing as they dint want to be late to the train
The duo soon got out of the building, well as soon they could being in a building with 30 floors and a lot of employees, the driver that was supposed to bring both boys and their bags to the train station was already there waiting for them , both entered the car on the backseat , the ginger had two medium suitcases and casual bag for his personal items while the brunette only had a big suitcase , both dint bring much tho if they needed anything else they could always just buy it in the city they were going to , now they just needed to wait to get on the train station

25 minutes later the car stopped infront of the train station, both boys soon got their baggage and went out of the car soon entering on the platform waiting for their train, soon enough 5 minutes later their train arrived, they boarded the train together with the other passengers, luckily the they got a wagon of their own not having to interact with strangers , soon they put their bags away below their seats , both reasonably tired and trying to relax for a little while before having to start their new job as bodyguards , Chuuya was looking out of the window while Dazai was on the other side of the wagon sited on the other seat with his head leaning against the window tiredly almost falling asleep, soon enough after the first 30 minutes of entering the train the brunette was fast asleep while the ginger decided to grab his phone and just play one of the games he had installed
Two hours and fifty five minutes later the train stopped, the ginger quickly trying to awake the brunette , “ mackerel hey we arrived dumbass get up or well be trapped in the train “ the older said tapping the younger boy’s shoulder “ huh shut up slug , fine I’ll get up just shut your mouth “ , both got their luggages and left the train still bickering for some other stupid reason , now waiting for the uber driver that was supposed to pick them up , soon enough their driver arrived, none of the talked during the ride both boys still tired and the driver having been pissed off for some reason when he arrived , after 15 minutes they arrived at ua , the school they were going to work in , soon the car parked infront of the main building, the duo soon got out of the car with their bags , Dazai helping by carrying one of chuuya’s bag along with his own , the other boy carrying his two suitcases , soon both enter the main building.

after some minutes of going trougth the secretary and being allow to go to the principal’s office after confirmating who they are , after going trough fifteen fifteen floors they finnaly reached their destinations, tge duo was now infront of theprincipals office, the brunette soon opened the door not even giving the ginger a chance to knock on it first , soon both ears a sound come from a weird creature that resembled a mouse dog weird thing , they decided to simply not question it seeing as their boss alredy mention it was a school for superheroes wich implied supernatural abilities so it would probably happend more than one time as it apparently included mutant power which they have yet to see a full time mutation power seeing as normally abilities only work for a limited period of time , soon the man?… creature started talking to them “ well you two must be my new employees aren’t you , I assume mori alredy told what your mission here is but to give you two a reminder, your job is being bodyguards of the class 1A seeing as the are being targeted by the league of vilans , I’ve heard you two are good workers so I’m sure your job will be pretty easy , make sure none of them die or get kidnapped again and that’s it , you two will live at the dorms together with the other students, each one of you will, have your separate rooms , your cover is being part of a redemption and rehabilitation program wich should be easy to act out , they will recive that information today and will meet you two at the dorms after the schoolday Ends , you two will have the rest of the afternoon to get yourselves situated at the dorms before meeting the students and your homeroom teacher wich has alredy been notified you two are bodyguards , you two will take the cover by studying together like any of them and having those supposed redemption and rehabilitation lessons, now as about your classifications , It says you Chuuya Nakahara is a caregiver , as to make sure your instincsts are being let to act you will be allowed to help the Littles of the class with the other class caregivers and your homeroom teacher and as about up you Dazai here it says you’re a neutral so you should be fine tho you’ll recive the permission to stay in the regression room together with your friend here as a mesure to make them trust you more gradually , your stay here is undefined and will be determined by how soon we can capture the L.O.V , your boss also asked me as to not make you two not change in the locker room together with the other students, we’ll talk more about that soon but for now you two are allowed to make your ways to the dorms and change there instead of the locker room , you two also need to get checked up by our school nurse recovery girl this week so we can make sure your health is up to date but that’s a thing for later , for now you two can make your way to the second building over to the rigth , the alliance dorm wich is 1A’s doormat , your rooms are the last two at the corridor on the 4th floor together with the other boys rooms , you two can choose who is going to what room tho they are almost the same so I don’t think it would be dificult to choose, now you two are dismissed to go to the dorms and get yourselves situated, any complaints “ the principal soon said to the two boys , he wasn’t sure about dazai’s classification but as he himself said to the boys that’s a talk for later , for now he’d let the two get acostummed to the place first , “ no sir none of us has complains well go to the dorms now as you dismissed us , have a good afternoon, I supposed you want is to come back this week still so we can finish this conversation, we’ll be back here tomorrow to finish our talk “ the brunette saying for both the boys not letting the ginger say anything, not that the boy even wanted try , soon both both paid they’d respects to the older creature and made their way out of the room
The duo finally entered the dorms , they place looked slightly disheveled but lived in , in a way , not that it really mattered , both now were following the principal’s instructions and finning ended up finding both the rooms , both were exhausted not even having the energy to have a petty fight to decide who would have what room , both simply entered the room they saw first , the doors were one in front of each other only being separated by the hall , dazai entered the room by the left while chuuya entered on the opposite one both Finnaly closing their doors and trowing themselves and their luggages onto their respective beds now simply waiting for the students and their teacher to arrive so they could start their jobs.
