Summary
Soulmates were never something Nancy had heard much about. As soon as the topic came up in conversation, it was swiftly waved away by her parents as one of those west-coast radical idea's that shouldn't be entertained. It was the same with most adults in Hawkins, no matter how many studies had proved the idea that there seemed to be multiple ways in which dreams presented themselves, and that not all of them seemed to originate from one's own body.
Regardless, most people just live their lives waking up from weird dreams and chalking them up to one stressor or another, and she had too — up until now.
