Chapter Text
When I woke up that morning, I expected it to be a normal day. Well, as normal as it could be in Blue Lock.
“Rise and shine, everyone!” Chigiri yelled. “Wake up!”
“Go away,” I muttered, burying my face into my pillow.
“Yeah,” Bachira complained. “I don’t want to wake up. I’m sleepy.”
“We’ve got a long day ahead of us,” Chigiri told us. “And it would be nice if your lazy bums could get up without me having to tell you to.” God, he sounded like my mom.
“Does anyone know where Reo went”Aryu asked. “He borrowed my hairdryer yesterday, and I need it back.”
My stomach twisted a little thinking of Reo. I couldn’t imagine how heartbroken he must’ve been after Nagi got locked off. Even I was devastated, and yes, Nagi and I were friends, but I wasn’t as close to him as Reo was. “Maybe he’s in the shower room,” I suggested. “Or maybe he’s training.”
Aryu shrugged. “I guess I’ll have to go check the showe room, then,” he said, walking away, flicking his long hair over his shoulder. “That’s not glam at all.”
I sat up, rubbing my eyes. “Finally, Isagi!” Chigiri exclaimed, rolling his eyes, and I gave him an irritated glare.
“Come on, Bachira,” I said, tapping my friend gently.
“No,” he stated. “Five more minutes.”.
“Fine,” I sighed in irritation. I could never say no to Bachira.
I got up and made my way to the shower room, still yawning sleepily. That had to be the best sleep I’d gotten in a while. And it was the best sleep I would ever get.
Because when I got to the shower room to take a shower, I saw that my prediction about Reo being in the shower room was right.
But he was lying in a pool of blood, and kneeling next to him with a look of horror on his face was Aryu.
