Summary
Alerie Lannister arrives at the Red Keep to meet her betrothed, Aemond Targaryen, and both immediately misread each other's nervousness as disgust. While Alerie is intimidated by Aemond's cold appearance, Aemond assumes she fears him for his missing eye. Despite the tension, Aemond still acts like the perfect prince in the eyes of his mother and family. Alerie doesn't know that the prince she has been promised to has more lurking beneath the surface.
