the beaches were way nicer here, they spent nearly every day in the sand after breakfast and only heading back when they ran out of sunscreen and got a craving for smoothies.
"these are so much better than mine, do you think they use frozen fruits? or is it the yogurt?" jungkook sipped the cherry smoothie and kept on rambling about how smooth and perfect it was, a hint of something there he was trying to guess.
taehyung just laughed lightly at his boyfriend and leaned back in his seat, taking another photo of the boy sitting there with his smoothie and the matching pink lei around his neck. "maybe you can go ask, that boy won't stop staring at you." the brunette muttered, looking back over at the counter and seeing the worker look away quickly.
jungkook set his smoothie down and looked over as well. "he's not even looking at me."
"because i told him to stop with my glare." taehyung said, crossing his arms over his chest and narrowing his eyes over at the worker.
it was a little amusing honesty, seeing this guy who's always so calm and collected suddenly be jealous over a little thing. jungkook smiled, getting up from his chair to sit on the others lap, wrapping his arms around his boyfriends neck. "i like where this is going." taehyung said, resting his hands on the smaller boys waist.
"this could go back to the hotel room." jungkook whispered, pecking a kiss just below his ear.
taehyung furrowed his eyebrows, leaning back to see the youngers face, "i've learned how much of a tease you are jeon jungkook." this wasn't the first time the ravenette has felt flirty and gotten the older worked up.
"but it's my actually my birthday today." jungkook pouted, "give me a gift." he said softly, smiling as taehyung gave him a quick kiss. "okay, back to the room." the brunette said, lifting the smaller boy off his lap.
the two made their way back to the room, taehyung giving jungkook a piggy back ride and earning little kisses to his neck and cheek the whole way.
it was a nice resort, the little room they got had a small kitchen and extended space for the couch and living room. the two had gotten really used to sleeping together, snuggling all night and too busy being cute to actually go any further.
jungkook unlocked the door for them both and taehyung carried him in, kicking the door shut with his boot. "is the privacy sign on it?" he asked, the ravenette nodded and hummed, continuing to kiss the boys neck and nibble gently on the skin. taehyungs grip tightened on his thighs.
the bedroom was nice, a single full sized bed with white sheets soon to be messed with. the view was nice, the palm trees and little walkway that led to small shops and then the flawless sands on the beach. taehyung dropped the boy onto the bed, crawling up in between his legs and immediately attaching their lips together.
jungkook moaned softly into the brunettes mouth, feeling his teeth bite gently on his bottom lip and tugged.
"why," the younger started to say, fluttering his eyes shut as taehyung started trailing kisses down his neck, "why is your shirt still on?"
the brunette smiled against his warm skin, pulling away to sit back on his knees and start unbuttoning the flowy top. jungkook sat up on his elbows and watched, eyes trained on the tan skin being exposed for him.
a phone rang. both of them paused and turned towards the sound. it was jungkooks phone, and a picture of an orange haired boy flashed on the screen.
the younger gasped, a bright smile showing in his face as he jumped off the bed to grab his phone. "it's jimin!"
taehyung groaned and flopped onto his stomach. "he's so lucky i didn't get hard yet or i would've been so pissed." he mumbled into the sheets, jungkook just rolled his eyes.
"we have all the time in the world." jungkook mocked the older who just flipped him off from his spot on the bed.
"hi jimin!" he smiled at his phone, holding it out so his friend could see him clearer.
the boy was grinning as well, his eyes squeezed shut into little moons. "hey bambi, how are things?"
jungkook hummed, walking over to the bed and sitting down beside his boyfriend, trailing his fingers over his back. "they're going very good, it's so pretty here."
"you better be taking pictures." jimin said.
"i have been just for you." jungkook said, a proud smile on his face. "is it cold there?"
his orange hair was covered by a beanie, a scarf around his neck and his nose was a little pink. "yeah the weather is being a bitch. take me with you next time alright?"
"no." taehyung said, "you're already a cockblock when you're not even here."
"are you ruining my little bambi!" jimin shouted through the phone, getting closer to the screen and glaring through it, "he's an innocent baby, handle with care."
the ravenette giggled and covered half his face with a hand. "he's being perfect hyung, don't worry." he told jimin.
"good." the boy said through the phone, "i just wanted to tell you happy birthday, and come home soon because i'm bored."
"thank you hyung, i miss you too." jungkook smiled, a hand was on his back rubbing soft circles through the fabric of his shirt. taehyung was smiling up at him, all the love in the world was in that one look.
they ended the call soon after, one too tired to stay up any longer and the other way being pestered by his boyfriend.
"hey kook," taehyung said, coming out of the bathroom with a towel in one hand and a blanket in the other. "do you want to come see the sunset with me?"
jungkook smiled brightly, running to grab his shoes and the camera he bought before they came to hawaii. "of course, i love sunsets."
"me too, and i love you so that's a plus." the brunette grinned, making sure he had their key card before heading out to the walkway.
"but you love me more?" jungkook asked, intertwining their fingers and swinging their arms.
"i love you more than anything else." taehyung stopped to look down at the boy, his thumb rubbing against his knuckles. he could stare at the younger for the rest of his life, no matter where that brought them.
"i love you too hyung." he gave the olders hand a squeeze, getting on his tip toes to peck his lips. "with all my heart." jungkook whispered.
and they meant every word, even more than what they could verbally express. so they took their time, enjoying the company they each brought. and they watched the sunset together, seeing the sun shrink away, as their own adoration grew.
