Summary
He and Leo are not twins. Donnie has known this fact since he was ten years old. They are two entirely different species of turtle, it’s biologically impossible for them to be twins. Any rational person would see that.
Unfortunately, it would seem Donnie’s family is entirely comprised of irrational people. His brothers, father, and even April all insist that the two of them are twins, despite all evidence to the contrary.
And now, after the world was almost destroyed, after Donnie came so close - too close - to losing his brother forever, he’s starting to think he might be just a little irrational, too.

“LEO!?” Mikey yelled back, pointing dramatically. “Is that a cat!?” And Leo lunged at him.
“NO! Go home, Mikey! Why were you even following me, you weirdo!?” Leo desperately tried to shove his brother back in the manhole and shield his view of said cat at the same time.
“Why were YOU sneaking out so much with vague excuses, you weirdo!?” Mikey slapped at Leo’s arms and face, squirming to get free.
“No reason! No reason at all!” Leo shouted back just as Mikey managed to slip past him and climb up into the alleyway.OR
