“I’m just worried about you, Roy!” Oliver sighs, his hand running through his hair, which leaves it in a slight mess that would be amusing if Roy wasn’t so fired up. “But you’re right, everything I know about Jason is from Bruce. So… of course, I’m going to… that’s what I’m going to think about. It’s not like you bring him around for Sunday lunch, Roy.” And while Roy wants to be mad, he knows Oliver had a point.
Since they started dating, Roy and Jason have been secretive about their relationship. They’ve kept to themselves, they didn’t go see Jason’s family, and they didn’t come to see Roy’s. That was just how they’d worked it out, that neither of them were really wanting or willing to get tangled up in their family bullshit.
“You wouldn’t have wanted him here. Or us here.”

Summary
"…I still think you should go to a hospital." He murmurs as he gets Jason to tilt his head back and finishes cleaning up and applying salve to the wound. Jason shakes his head slowly and closes his eyes again as Roy starts to wrap his throat again.
"If I die… Bruce will get what he… fucking wants." Jason grunts and Roy’s heart feels like it plummets into his gut, making it hard for him to swallow.
"And the rest of us?" He murmurs lowly, his hands coming away from Jason’s body to hang in his lap. There’s a beat of silence, one that’s so uncomfortable Roy can’t help but fidget.
