This collection is not a single AU.

Unless otherwise specified, each author has their own AU going but set within the same basic premise. There are some things we all agree on: Mandalore was the first planet assimilated, Obi-Wan was the first Jedi assimilated, he was assimilated during the year long mission to Mandalore during his padawanship, the New Mandalorians led by Duchess Satine Kryze were the first of the Mandos to be assimilated, and the Mandalorian Borg are called the Borgdalorians/Borg/Borgos and other things depending on the fic.

What is this?
Good question. A group of seven creators got together and spawned an AU where the Mandalorians become the Borg. This is where we will throw all of our works in a handy to access collection so you too can join the Collaborative.

How/what do I post?
We are only accepting fics that fall in a specific niche: only Star Wars/ Star Trek crossovers heavily featuring the Borg. This is because we have a brand in the Collaborative and we intend to stick to it. If you feel your fic fits this, send it in and we will likely approve it to be added. Join us. You will enhance our perfection.

How did this happen?
We have NO IDEA. That's a lie. The seven original creators (Vox_Panica_48, GraceEliz, aroacejoot, Red_Vines, medaeus, nightdotlight, and Amijentz) belong to the NSWC discord server where someone proposed the Mandalorians as the Borg. It took off because we are all feral for Star Wars/Star Trek/ The Borg.

1. The Borgdalorians/ Borg must be featured. That is the whole point of this collection, it is in the name.

2. Jedi Positive. Please, no Jedi bashing. All of the fics in this collection feature the Jedi as a positive force in the galaxy and we have a brand, as we said. We would like to stick to it.

3. Works need not be cohesive. For example, Vox_Panica_48 is merely going to be posting every single fic in a series that is in no way connected by plot. If you just have an idea and wrote it down in a feverish attempt to join the Collaborative, we welcome you.

4. No smut, please. However, if your fic ends up being 18+ for gore, violence, etc., it will be welcomed. The assimilation process is not a peaceful one and the Borg are not peaceful. We recognize this. Please tag appropriately.

5. If you are operating outside of the things the seven original creators agree on, please make a note of that. It will help us and readers avoid confusion. Having those premises is in no way a requirement. We put them there so that you all know what is going on in the fics that end up in the Collaborative.

6. Have fun, go buckwild. We welcome additions to the Collaborative, it has been a space for us to shoot ideas into the void and have fun while doing it. If you have an idea, go for it! If you don't, then just read along! We created this to have fun and that is something we all stand by.
