Obi-Wan picks up his packs, not reacting at all to the ghostly insistence on picking up the blasters too, and begins to walk out into the Wastes of Tatooine where he knows lies safety. If nobody can find him, if he can find nobody, then there will be no danger. He will cause no pains to anyone, lose nobody. More importantly, he will have won.
