Ao3 added a feature to sort bookmarks by word count so I was able to make this much more easily than my medium length fics collection which I had to go through every single bookmark for. There's definitely differing opinions on what a "long" fanfiction is. But I'm classing anything with 40k+ words as long, because according to google that can technically be considered a novel. Most novels are around 70k - 120k words apparently. It's crazy how many people are writing novel length (and often novel quality) works entirely for free. And there's many way longer than novel length too, I'll forever be impressed at people writing monster fanfics with like 500k+ words, insane. I'm considering total word count for the series if all the works are interconnected here. Personally I like fics between 50k to 100k better than the insanely long ones, more manageable lol.
