He remembered the way her strands had bannered her face in snapshots from Athens, where the better portion of their honeymoon now lived only in the iCloud he never cleared. She had laughed so freely then, chasing her windblown hair with her fingers while he stood behind the camera. Her fingers were chasing it now.
The corner of his bitten mouth twitched, resisting a smile.
Elsa looked up, meeting his eyes with her own, and asked the impossible: "How are you?"
What he heard was: "Did you survive me?"
A wedding in New Orleans forces two former spouses back into the same orbit after six years of silence. Beneath polite smiles and careful conversation breathes a love still intimate enough to unravel them both.

Disclaimer – I don't own Naruto or Despicable Me. This was originally published on my Wattpad account on September 18, 2016, but it took me this long in posting the first chapter here on FFnet. I wrote this because I liked the idea I came up in the original version – called Cotton Candy Crossover – which was written for a challenge, yet I never got into the depth I would have liked in that. The Naruto content won't come until chapter three.

Venti dies and his memories live on in Hyuuga Neji, a child destinated to tragedy and to live under the yoke of slavery. Venti would have said to suck it and so do Neji. He's going to open the mind of these ignorant people who call this world free and peaceful even if he has to poke their eyes out of their skulls to make his point clear.
