Thank you! I don't have much of a comics background, so it was nice to attempt a different take of how Clint and Phil could have gotten to where they are during The Avengers. My goal for this fic was to build a Clint that could believably continue on at SHIELD without needing to lean on Phil. I thought it made their "breakup" more believable and has them on a more equal footing by the time they finally get together.
I guess what I'm saying is that you write them as fully flawed, really wonderful human beings, and that's awesome!
^I take that as a huge compliment. My aim is always to write them as human beneath the heroism. Thank you.
