Oh, my goodness! I hope your very important paper is going well, or maybe did go well if you have already finished it. 😊
I absolutely agree with you about Susan - while it makes sense that Lewis would leave out most details, since he was writing for children, it is so unsatisfying as an adult reader! I wanted to show that Susan is still a thinking person, with real and serious disagreements with Aslan and therefore with her siblings, but it doesn't mean she does not love them.
Thank you for the comment about Eustace! I really enjoyed writing him in "Rip Tide," especially, and I also hope that he will have more direct interaction with Caspian when he goes back to Narnia, since he knows in advance that he is looking for Rilian. It will be interesting to see if Jill's journey is different, too!
I very much look forward to your story, whenever you are able to write it. 😊 And in the meantime, I will keep working on my own story - which, as you guessed, is Lucy and Caspian's return to Narnia, their wedding, and figuring out how to rule together. I hope you will enjoy it when I manage to get it finished! Thank you for such kind comments - it makes me very happy that you liked this so much. 💗💗💗
