Thank you for your reply. And your story also brightened my day since I am stuck writing very important paper and this fic was my power up 😉 And this is why I I loved it so much 💕 Because her struggle is painted beautifuly. And Susan! One letter but this one. Her explanation seems so much more in character that Lewis gave us. I understand why he did that, since it's mainly for children but from audult's perspective it may seem that it was too little. And I forgot to write that I like your portrayal of Eustace. I am fond of this character and it is nice to see how already adventures in Narnia changed him in this little moments. I can't wait for more of him. And I am curious if now when he knows already who he is looking for he will have more interactions with Caspian. Bacuse Lewis really deprived us from this and owww... (and I admit that Ben and Will Poulter's friendship may could my judgement but whatever 😅 ) Thank you for agreeing 😁 I will definitely notify you when my story will come out. It just may take a while. English isn't my native language so... 😅 And I can't wait for your next works in this series. Especially some married life fluff (and the wedding 😉). But I am sure that everything will be dear to my heart like this two fragments already are.
Oh, my goodness! I hope your very important paper is going well, or maybe did go well if you have already finished it. 😊
I absolutely agree with you about Susan - while it makes sense that Lewis would leave out most details, since he was writing for children, it is so unsatisfying as an adult reader! I wanted to show that Susan is still a thinking person, with real and serious disagreements with Aslan and therefore with her siblings, but it doesn't mean she does not love them.
Thank you for the comment about Eustace! I really enjoyed writing him in "Rip Tide," especially, and I also hope that he will have more direct interaction with Caspian when he goes back to Narnia, since he knows in advance that he is looking for Rilian. It will be interesting to see if Jill's journey is different, too!
I very much look forward to your story, whenever you are able to write it. 😊 And in the meantime, I will keep working on my own story - which, as you guessed, is Lucy and Caspian's return to Narnia, their wedding, and figuring out how to rule together. I hope you will enjoy it when I manage to get it finished! Thank you for such kind comments - it makes me very happy that you liked this so much. 💗💗💗
