Comment on Brockton's Celestial Forge

  1. I have no idea what the therapy session will be like, but I'm betting it will be a big, or at least a significant, experience for both Joe and his therapist.

What will Lisa be able to glean from the new costumes? Nothing, which will drive her crazy? Or something she can't comprehend, which will drive her crazy?

Now that Joe has given Taylor a Bag of Holding, I'm wondering how she'll use it as a weapon.

Lord Roustabout, I'm wondering if there are perks that could be added from Little Battlers Experience/Danball Senki and Naruto. The former would let Joe create fully functioning little robots that he could give to others and use actual weaponry, while the latter would be mostly the use of seals. Are either possible?

    1. Lisa will probably see that the costumes are bullet restainant, well suited for their purposes and not equipped with tracking devices.

Not possible, the original celestial forge is made from a list of perks from a list of Jumpchains, and none of those settings were included and Lord has stated that he is not adding any new settings.

Here is the link to all the settings included in the original forge.

    2. Lisa will have a hard time drawing any definite conclusions from the new costumes. She might be able to tell Joe didn’t make them, but Joe’s work is all over the place so it’s equally likely it will register as a possible sub-ability of his. The materials will have properties that she has never seen before, so that will take up a lot of the analysis. Digging into the design and fashion significance will be a very deep well and could take her to any number of conclusions.

The easiest way to weaponize the bag is as an insect carrier. Trying to use it offensively or stuff someone in will be difficult. Not to say it can’t be done, but Taylor will definitely be better just hauling around spider swarms.

I made a decision early on that I wasn’t going to modify the list of perks included in the original Celestial Forge. The only exceptions have been free perks, some of which are needed for the main perks to function, and the potential Capstone constellation. There are lots of great perks out there and many have been included in the projects for v2 and v3 or the Forge, but I will be sticking with the base list for this story.

      1. Instead of trying to trap others in the bag. Taylor could get in the bag herself and have her swarm carry her around. The bag has weight reduction properties right? Letting her fit through small openings, might be able to be carried through the air for pseudoflight, and great for hiding.

    3. Oh man, I just got it into my head of a Tinker specializing in making LBX's along with the weapons plus the various remotes/controllers.

God, I loved that anime, it's concept was pretty cool too.
