It's so fascinating to see Molly portrayed like this. Partially as a good thing, because I don't think I've ever read anything hannigram where she wasn't treated as an ignorant obstacle, partially as good without being naive. It's so hard for people to separate those two, like you cannot be hopeful without also being blind to people's faults.
I love the idea of Will becoming someone he likes when he's with her. And the accepting co-dependency, acknowledging the unhealthy without condemning the relationship. I really like when you do that for both of the relationships actually.
And I very much enjoy Molly as the force that brings Will and Hannibal together and ensures they have an as good relationship as possible, given the circumstances. And everything in the way you've portrayed hannigram's relationship and the way Will's empathy leaves him blind for certain things and his relationship with Wally is so good.

oooo thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment!! you've made me feel all warm and fuzzy. yesss i love the bits about accepting the unhealthy parts of the relationship and striving for good -- at this point i don't think its possible for either will or hannibal to be in any relationship that could be described as healthy, but that doesn't mean they can't ever reach something good and soft and gentle.
