I love it that Daemon, in the midst of his self-absorption, recognizes the strength and determination of Jacaerys, the stepson he never knew, who died trying to save Daemon's youngest son. (I've always been fond of Jace). Even though Jace won't be born here, at least Harwin will live. And I'm hoping that Aegon will too, and will manage to know some happiness. Thankfully Daemon seems to be on track to removing his head from his arse and is resolved to talk to Aegon - they desperately need communication, especially the traumatized 12-year-old!
Jace is my all time fav from the Dance! What a great son/brother/prince/heir.
