Afternoon tea was a part of daily life that Genshin didn’t need very long to get used to, since coming to England. A small way to stave off hunger in the afternoon and potentially meet with friends over tea and cakes before a typically late dinner. Not a terrible idea, even if the practice itself was quite different from tea ceremony. A tad more casual, as well. Comfortable, even, when the company was familiar and all conversation was good-natured.
