Nine years after she first ran the Labyrinth, Sarah Williams continues to visit with her friends in the Underground. But Sarah is ill, marked by dark magic and night terrors with all-too-real consequences. After a near-death experience, her friends decide the only way to save her is to bring her to the Goblin King.
Although he is still bitter from his defeat, Jareth cannot allow Sarah to be harmed - for more than one reason. In the same way it harms Sarah, the dark magic is destroying the Labyrinth, and the only way to save one is to save both.

That's not it. A silky voice whispers to themselves.
'Megumi, enough!' The white haired man could feel himself getting more angry as the child refused to calm down. Wails pitching up higher than before if even possible.
'I wish I did know what to say to make the goblins come take you away.' He rakes his hands through his hair and stalks out of the room to try and get a break from the headache blooming across his forehead.
Walking towards the door he mutters to himself almost as an afterthought, 'I wish the goblins would come take you away right now.' hand closing around the door knob it takes him a moment to realize that the loud cries had cut off.
